Risk for Sales Representatives

Risk information and credit limits for sales at a glance.

As a sales or service employee, you can use Bilendo to request credit limits for your (potential) customers. To do so, follow the steps explained here:

Logging In

First, you need to log in to Bilendo. You can do this from our homepage www.bilendo.de in the upper right corner:

To get access to Bilendo, your colleagues must set up an account for you and send you an invitation email. In most cases, you do not need to set a password yourself, because we will certify your account with your SSO system on your end. If you have not received an invitation email, please contact the project team on your end.

Selecting a Customer

Once you are logged in, you can view all customers via the “A/R Core” > “Debtor Management” button. Now select the relevant customer here:

Requesting a credit limit manually

If the customer has not yet been assigned a credit limit, you will see the following in the right column under “Customer Details” > “Credit Limits”:

To request a credit limit, click “Add Credit Limit.” You can then select the credit policy that is relevant to you:

This takes you to the “Credit Limit suggestion” overview, where you can again request a credit limit manually on the right side by entering all the necessary information. In this example, that means the amount of the desired limit as a number and the date on which the limit expires.

Approval Process and Notification

After you select both the desired limit and the correct people for the approval process, the request is in progress. All relevant people now receive a notification (if you have enabled this) that their approval is required. Once all required approvals have been granted, you receive a notification that the credit limit has been approved.

The credit limit overview then looks like this, for example:

Here you can see information such as the name of the credit policy that was applied, the score, the actual limit and how much of it has already been used, whether the limit was set automatically or manually, and more.
