Dunning Procedure & Blocking Process

Every SAP dunning procedure becomes a Bilendo dunning area; the regulated blocking process remains in IS-U.

A utility runs multiple dunning procedures (or collection strategies per BRF+) in FI-CA, one for each customer segment. A dunning level is a bundle of activities: letter, fee, interest, disconnection warning, disconnection order to the grid operator, collections. Bilendo takes over the communication levels; the disconnection process stays where market communication is.

Legal framework by segment

Handover of dunning authority

During the initial extraction, Bilendo takes over the dunning level (CADunningItem.CADunningLevel) and the last dunning date (CADunning.CAIssueDate) from the FI-CA dunning history one time only, so that an account at level 2 does not start over at level 1. After that, Bilendo manages the level and reports it back.
