#25 - July 2025
Bilendo release July 2025 with all new features and fixes.
Receivables
New placeholders for today's date and letter date
We've added two new placeholders to give you more flexibility with reminders and letters:
[TODAY] – Inserts the current date and can be used in both reminders and letters.
[LETTER_DATE_X] – Lets you specify a particular date and is available for letters only.
Add A4 PDF attachments to postal mailings
Users can now attach A4 PDFs to postal mailings so they can be printed correctly. If a file is invalid or can't be attached, an error message is displayed.
As with email mailings, where multiple file formats can be attached, this update extends the attachment options to postal mailings as well, while ensuring compatibility with print requirements.
Increased number of items displayed on Customer#show
Users can now view up to 100 items instead of 30 on the Customer#show page. This update provides a better overview of customer transactions and makes data analysis easier without having to browse through multiple pages.
Configure scheduled data exports for empty files
Users can now specify whether scheduled data exports should generate and send files even when they contain no entries. This setting lets you control whether users or servers receive empty export files, depending on the specific use case.
Personalized Sender Information for Emails
What's new?
You can now configure dunning and letter emails to display the name and reply-to address of the responsible person, for direct and professional communication.
The reply-to address goes to the right user
The sender name shows the responsible person
The actual sending address remains unchanged (SMTP stays the same)
How it works:
In the SMTP settings, you will now see a checkbox:
“Use customer responsible user information as from/reply-to”If the option is enabled and a user is assigned to the customer:
The sender name and reply-to address are populated with the details of the assigned user
The email address used for sending remains the one defined in the SMTP configuration
If the checkbox is disabled or no user is assigned to a customer, the default sender name and default reply-to address are used (e.g., dunning@…).
Why this matters:
Dunning notices feel more personal, while the technical email configuration remains consistent.
How to enable the feature:
Navigate to Settings > SMTP Configuration and enable “Use customer responsible user information as from/reply-to.” Make sure customers are assigned to users accordingly.
New Filter: “With Difference Reason”
In addition to the existing Difference Reason filter, a new filter is now available: “With Difference Reason”.
This lets users easily filter documents by entries that either have a difference reason or don’t, making review and analysis more efficient.
Analytics
New “Credit Balance” Column in the Overdue Report
Users can now view the total credits (documents of the type “Credits”) that must be paid to customers directly in the overdue report. A new “Credits” column has been added next to “Open (not yet due)” on both the Overdue#index and Overdue#show pages. This improves transparency and provides a clearer financial overview.
New DSO Report in Analytics
We have updated the label from DSO to ADP and introduced a new DSO report where users can track their Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) directly in the Analytics section.
The DSO metric is calculated as:
This provides valuable insight into how long it takes to collect receivables.
The report is now available for periods of 30, 90, and 365 days, helping users better assess payment performance and cash flow efficiency.
Interactive Drill-Down in Reports
We're improving the reporting experience in Bilendo:
Users can click directly on calculated values in reports (e.g., tables) and are taken straight to a filtered index view to review the underlying data.
