New field for Journal Entry exports: Date of last dunning notice
You can now export the date of the last dunning notice for Journal Entries. This date is updated whenever a new dunning notice is sent for a Journal Entry or a dunning notice is archived. The field can be added to export layouts and is automatically included when all columns are exported.
Multi-Level Dispute Escalation
The long-awaited feature for configuring multiple escalation levels in the dispute resolution process is now available! You can easily add or remove multiple escalation levels within the dispute resolution workflow.
Important notes:
Multiple escalation levels cannot be triggered on the same day. Only the first applicable level (based on the configured number of days) is activated. We will soon add validation to prevent conflicting configurations from being saved.
As soon as a new escalation level is reached, it overwrites the previous one. However, earlier escalation levels can still be traced in the activity log. Only one escalation level is active at a time.
Additional Columns for Clarifications
We have expanded the available columns in the clarification view!
The most frequently requested addition, Workflow, is now available. In addition to the workflow name, users can now add the following columns:
Area
Business Unit
Response Template
Sales Unit
Team
Dunning Stop
New Columns for Documents
The assigned sales unit and the user can now be displayed in the documents index. This update provides greater transparency and makes it easier to track relevant information.
New Customer Filter: Users by Sales Unit
Users can now filter customers based on users linked through the sales unit of the documents. This makes it easier for customer-facing teams to find their customers by filtering specifically for those assigned to their sales unit.
Additional Document Fields for the Clarification Index
Users can now display additional information in the clarification index. New fields such as Assignment, Invoice Number, Amount, Due Date and Customer Balance can be added to provide more context and increase transparency.
Extended Clarification Export Layout: More Document Fields Available
Users can now include additional fields in the export layout to improve data analysis and reporting. Fields such as Document Assignment, Document Number, Amount and Invoice Due Date can now be added, ensuring a more comprehensive export.
Optional General BCC Email for Outgoing Emails
We have introduced a new option to support legal compliance requirements. In the Email Server settings, you can now specify a general BCC email address. As a result, all outgoing customer emails (including dunning letters) are automatically blind-copied to the specified address.
Why this matters:
Due to local regulations, some companies are required to keep copies of all outgoing communications.
How it works:
Navigate to: Technology > Email Server
Scroll to the Default Sender section
Enter the desired address in the BCC Email Address field
This setting is optional and does not affect other countries or use cases.
Risk
New Risk Alert: Credit Limit Utilization
We have introduced a new risk alert for credit limit utilization that can be selected in the credit policy settings. Set your own threshold (1–100%). As soon as credit limit utilization exceeds this value, the risk alert is triggered.
Example: If the threshold is set to 80%, the warning activates as soon as utilization exceeds 80%. This enhancement enables proactive monitoring of credit usage and timely action before limits are fully exhausted.
Split Label for Risk Warning Status
The risk warning status now includes a split label that displays both the current status and the progress of the related tasks. This enhancement provides clearer insights and makes it easier to track ongoing actions.
Monitoring End Date on Creditreform Provider Cards
The Creditreform provider cards now display the monitoring end date. This provides greater transparency and helps users more easily track the validity of monitoring periods.
Credit Hold History
The Credit Hold feature now includes a detailed log of all changes that shows when a credit hold was placed or released, who made the change, and why. This update increases transparency and traceability and gives users a clear overview of credit hold management and the decision-making process.
Improved Processing of Credit Limit Requests
Previously, any user could change the details of a credit limit request, which led to confusion when changes were made under the original author's name. To increase transparency and traceability, this logic has been updated: As soon as a value in the request is changed, the system now displays the name of the user who made the change. This provides a clearer audit trail and makes it easier to track changes.
Quick Access to Credit Reports & Credit Insurance Requests
Requesting credit reports or credit insurance is now faster and more convenient! Instead of navigating through the options menu, users can now open the relevant request window directly via a new button on the credit information card. This improvement simplifies the process, saves time, and increases ease of use.
Support for non-named credit insurance via Allianz Trade
We have expanded our Allianz Trade integration to include non-named credit insurance – automatic credit approvals up to a predefined amount without manual intervention. This feature was developed for Finsterwalder, but it is fully usable for other customers, such as Vileda.
Non-named vs. named – What's the difference?
Non-named credit insurance:
→ Granted automatically based on predefined criteria
→ No separate credit request required for each debtor
→ Simplifies workflows and saves time
Named credit insurance:
→ Requested manually for a specific debtor
→ Requires review and approval by Allianz Trade
What's included?
We now support three mechanisms for non-named credit insurance:
Pre-Cover
→ Automatically grants credit insurance of €10,000
→ Can be deactivated if an application was rejected or if there was a poor rating in the last 12 months
→ Ideal for broad, low-risk exposures
BoniCheck-based credit insurance
→ Integrated into the cover grade assignment
→ Customers with a rating between 1 and 7 automatically receive credit insurance of €20,000
→ If the rating is lower, the insurance is canceled
Payment experience-based credit insurance
→ Configurable through a dedicated section with customizable rules
→ Example: If at least 2 documents were paid on time in the last 12 months, credit insurance of €20,000 is granted
→ Includes 30 grace days for minor deviations
Why this matters
This update enables teams to automate credit risk assessments more flexibly and accurately, significantly reduce manual steps, and give our customers faster and more reliable decisions.
Canceling credit insurance for credit insurers
Users can now cancel credit insurance policies directly in Bilendo – easily, quickly, and without manual intervention.
How does it work?
On the credit insurance detail page (Kreditversicherung#show), users can simply click "Cancel" to start the cancellation process.
After cancellation:
The insured amount is set to €0.
An expiration date is assigned automatically.
The next day, the credit insurance policy is officially marked as expired.
Who benefits?
All teams that manage credit insurance policies through Coface & Allianz Trade.
Customizable Country Risk Profiles for Customers
We are excited to introduce the Country Risk Profile – a new setting in the Bilendo frontend that lets you assign and manage country-specific risk assessments for your customers – fully customizable to your needs!
What's new?
Multiple profiles supported → Create different rating schemes, e.g., Internal Rating, Moody's Rating, or others.
Flexible country ratings → Assign ratings per country using free text (selection from a dropdown list to ensure consistency).
Automatic assignment → Ratings are linked to customers via the country in the master data and displayed in the Key Stats section (Risk Management tab + credit limit suggestion).
Import support → Upload ratings in bulk via CSV or Excel files (ISO code + rating required in the file).
Example: How to add a rating
Navigate to: Settings → Country Risk Profiles
Create a profile (e.g., Internal Rating)
Select the countries from the dropdown list
Enter your custom rating (free text)
Save – done!
Why this matters
With this feature, Bilendo becomes even more powerful for risk management. Users gain better insight into their customers' risk profiles by assigning country-specific ratings that can be factored into decision-making processes—for example, when calculating credit limits.
