#26 - August 2025
Bilendo Release August 2025 with all new features and fixes.
Receivables
Manual update of customer default currency (if applicable)
Previously, a customer's default currency was tied to the currency of the first document – manual changes were not possible. With this update, users can now manually change the default currency for customers who work with multiple currencies.
After a change, the system automatically recalculates balance and revenue caches to ensure accuracy.
This gives teams more control and flexibility in managing multi-currency customers, especially in cases where the original default currency is not optimal.
Column in dunning overview – customer note
In the dunning overview, a column customer note is now displayed!
Clicking on it allows you to view or edit the current customer note directly – no detour elsewhere is needed.
This makes it easier to keep track of customer communication while processing dunning notices.
New Access Right: Payment Promise
The access right "Payment Promise" has been separated from the general Customer Access Right and converted into its own dedicated access right "Payment Promise Access".
Why this matters:
More granular control: Teams can now assign access to payment promises independently from other customer permissions.
Better traceability and security alignment.
Migration notice:
For the rollout, all user roles that currently had access via the Customer Access Right were automatically assigned the new Payment Promise Access permission.
Workflow name now included in clarification emails
We have added the workflow name to clarification emails when document details are displayed.
This small but helpful change makes it easier to recognize the context of the document at a glance – saves time and reduces confusion for clarification participants.
Filter "Charge Indicator Type" for clarifications
Users can now filter clarifications by Charge Indicator Type – this makes it easier to prioritize and process the right clarifications more quickly.
Load Letter Export
Load letters can now be exported directly from the overview – just like other exports.
The export layouts are fully configurable via Settings > Export Layouts, allowing you to customize the output to your needs.
Adding Position to Contact Person
You can now manually add Position to a contact person.
Once added, the positions are visible when sending reminders and letters, enabling better context and higher personalization.
User Role Impersonation Now Supports Updates for Account Delegation
User roles with the Impersonification privilege can now log in as other users to set up or update user delegations – particularly helpful when a user is sick or unable to make the settings themselves.
Businesses have requested this to ensure business continuity when team members unexpectedly go down. This update makes it easier for administrators to quickly intervene and manage delegation settings.
Improved Visibility of Bulk Actions
We have updated the display of bulk actions (e.g., send reminders) when selecting multiple items.
What's new:
All bulk actions are now always visible – no more guessing where options have gone.
If an action cannot be executed (e.g., missing email addresses), it is displayed grayed out instead of disappearing.
Actions will still not be displayed if you do not have permission to use them.
This makes it easier to understand what is possible, what is not, and why – improves clarity and reduces confusion when managing multiple items.
Risk
"Important Today" Filter
Three new filters for selection have been added to the "Important Today" filters:
Credit Limit Proposal: Proposals pending validation
Credit Limit Proposal: Proposals pending approval
Credit Limits: Credit limit utilization > 80%
Cancellation of Credit Insurance for Allianz Trade and Coface
Users can now cancel credit insurance requests for Allianz Trade directly in Bilendo – just as already available for Coface and coming soon for Atradius.
What's New:
The cancellation function is now available for both Allianz Trade and Coface.
Why This Matters:
Users gain more flexibility and consistency when managing credit insurance across multiple providers – all in one place.
How to Use It:
Navigate to the credit insurance detail view.
At the bottom right, you will find the option "Cancel credit insurance".
Warnings for negative score changes (Allianz & Coface)
We have added warnings for Negative Change Score and Positive Change Score in risk management for Allianz and Coface.
What's new:
You can now set score or rating thresholds.
Users are notified immediately once a risk score crosses this threshold – either up or down.
Why this matters:
This helps users respond faster to significant credit risk changes; improves decision-making and reduces risk exposure.
How to set it up:
Navigate to Credit Policies or Risk Integrations and define your desired thresholds for Allianz and Coface.
Manual Credit Insurance Connections
You can now manually add credit insurance – without any API required!
Previously, this was only possible through the "Collateral" section, which caused confusion since collateral and credit insurance serve different purposes. This update simplifies the process and improves clarity.
How it works:
Navigate to Settings > Risk Integrations
Click "Add" and select the type: Manual
Select the connection type: Information or Credit Insurance
When Credit Insurance is selected:
Fields for start date, amount and currency are pre-filled, but you can also add additional information.
A Product type field is also available to define the product.
Manually added credit insurance policies are now also displayed in the Credit Insurance tab in the customer profile.
Improved visibility for credit limits set with FreePass
We have improved the tracking and display of FreePass usage to increase transparency and traceability.
Previously, when a user activated a FreePass to bypass the credit limit approval process, there was no clear marking in the credit limit history – and the user's comment was also not visible. This has now been fixed.
What's new:
Entries created via FreePass now carry the label:
"Validation + Approval FreePass"Within the dropdown/accordion, the following are displayed:
User name
Their comment
This ensures that it is always clear when and why a limit was set directly, without going through the approval process.
This change applies to all new FreePass entries effective immediately.
New Risk Warnings for Payment Experience
We are pleased to announce the introduction of two new risk warnings designed to help our users proactively monitor customers with a deteriorating Days Beyond Terms (DBT) trend – an important indicator of payment behavior risk.
Negative Trend DBT (Open Invoices)
This warning notifies you when a customer's DBT value, calculated from open invoices, exceeds a configurable threshold.
Trigger: DBT exceeds defined threshold
Calculation basis: Customer's open invoices
Use case: Early identification of customers falling behind on current open invoices.
Negative Trend DBT (Paid Invoices)
This warning is based on the DBT, calculated from cleared (paid) invoices within a defined time period. It helps identify a trend toward deteriorating payment behavior over time.
Trigger: DBT exceeds defined threshold
Calculation basis: Customer's paid invoices
Time period: Users can choose to evaluate paid invoices from the last
30 days
90 days
1 year
to evaluate
These two warnings complement each other and provide a more comprehensive view of potential credit risks – both reactive (open invoices) and historical (paid invoices).
